problem?? (couldn't open input files for splittet file)

I'm trying to download the basic lime wire, but while down loading it comes up with the error of "couldn't open input files for splittet file. Any one know how to fix this?? First time trying to download on a new computer.

Search the word splittet using the forum search. :) I don't know the answer but I am aware that question has been asked & answered many times. :)
