A's and D's without sub titles Hi Newbie so forgive me if this is obvious. Tried to download the above about 6 times and have followed basics etc in terms of file size and type. Even though I have deliberately selected Englis/avoided French or foreign sounding lingo in the file name I always get foreign subtitles. I'm no linguist but think I've had Czech, Dutch, German and Polish so far. Is there any way to avoid this or even tweak the avi or video file when its on the hard drive to negate this problem? Use Vista 32 bit, IE 7, Broadband ADSL connection. Thanks :mad2: |
uh .. I presume this is not a copyright file right? Else it's in breach of forum rules to discuss this specifically. A quick video search, I found lots specified as being english varying in size between 1-2 GB. Some specify subtitles, some don't. Yes there are several european versions also. Have you tried Bitzi lookup on the specific files in the search results? I checked a few. Several don't have bitzi reports. One had a complaint of being a cam job in russian with russian subtitles overlapping english ones. lol :D Keep searching through them doing bitzi lookups. Else, download a small portion of each one & check them. We may need to change the title of this thread. ;) |
Many thanks Have used the Bitzi facility but this did not provide any background info. Certainly only wish to copy licensed material. Apologies if I posted in wrong sub forum |
