Having trouble installing Lime Wire: "Could not open input file for splittet files."

Every time I try to install Lime Wire Version 5.2.13, a messsage shows up that says, "Could not open input file for splittet files." What does this means?

Did you click on all the links within the original link that I gave? Especially this one LimeWire Forums ?
That fix is the first one that someone came up with & has fixed the issue for a lot of people.

To pause Kaspersky right click on the icon on the bottom right side of your screen (by your clock) and left click pause protection. After installing UNPAUSE it! you should be good to go:)

Do you use Kapersky? Your problem might be another security program. Although it sounds risky, disable all security programs temporarily & try again. :)

Also, there are some spyware programs that are anti p2p sharing programs. These will stop programs like LW working & may damage them. Be sure you put LW on their safe list or instead use a p2p safe spyware program. ;)

If using the 'Other' version doesn't work it probably suggests a java issue or security programs issue.

Tried that. Still the same thing.
