Thank you birdy , but i am not having either of those two major problems ; just a minor problem which is always and immediately solved by re starting lw ;

it would just be a little easier with a connect to the internet option in the menu . Its just a minor flaw in lw 5 .

It is possible to make a request for such an item to be added (actually re-added from LW 4) in future LW 5 versions, see LimeWire Jira Instructions for instructions.

Once you are logged into the Jira, top right of page you will see options to Create & choose Other -> New Feature, or Improvement. :)

For various reasons a person may wish to temporarily disconnect LW without closing it, such as if they were changing their shares or adding descriptions them. Or for some people, disconnecting & then re-connecting may assist them in connecting more efficiently (such as if they were initially connected to poor functioning / unreliable ultrapeers.)
