LimeWire Adds AVG Malware Scanning To Pro Service - Security Watch

This is something that most LW user have wanted for years, however I would have preferred a facility that allowed me to choose which AV I wanted to use.

I guess we will just have to see how the eventual release plays out.

I initially wondered why the choice of AVG also LimeWire Beta Forums - LimeWire 5.5 beta series but users do have a choice. They do not necessarily need to use AVG if they do not wish. I would also prefer to see choice of which Anti-virus to use as a couple other gnutella programs have. But this is a start & having an AV integration is something that's been requested probably since I joined the forums if not before.
