It's a movie file format. You should try a program like the Windows Media player or Quick time. I'm not for sure if those will play it but you might wanna try it.

usually mov files only play in quicktime (or maybe its just the ones i dl)

Far as I know, Apple has not licensed the technology to bill gate and company, so you need to get QuickTime from apple.
