I've just sorted it out. It was just that I needed to alter how many files and connections I could have! *doh!* Thanks! |
I'm still having on off problems with this. When I'm downloading, when I hover over the host light in the top right corner it usually says Ultrapeer. Whenever I try to download something and that light's flashing, internet conncetion cuts out. Occasionally, the Host light stays green and when I hover the mouse over it, it says Leaf Mode. My internet connection never cuts out when it's in Leaf Mode. So, is there any way that I can stop downloading from ultrapeers and only in Leaf mode? |
Either the wireless card or the router cannot handle heavy traffic. You can lock BearShare into leaf mode in Setup/Service by putting a checkmark on "Never become an ultrapeer". If you can, it might prove helpful to use a wire to connect to the router or modem. Allowing BearShare to operate as an ultrapeer gives you a strong advantage in searching. |
That's done the trick. Thanks again, Aaron. :) |
