strange sounds

Have a playlist of about 700. I have noticed that, after creating a playlist, the playback on all the music sounds as if there is a "warble"( for lack of a better term) in the music, sorta like a small fade in and out or something out of round, as the music is playing back. It's not just on certain songs, it's on all. Would like to pin point this condition a little but this is the best way I can discribe this annoying playback. Any ideas?
Thanks

Sounds to me like the songs are deliberately corrupted. ie: you downloaded the files from spam search results. There are organisations out there sponsored by the RIAA to attempt to remove people's enthusiasm for downloading copyright music.

Although this was originally written for LimeWire users, the same principles apply to any other gnutella program such as BearShare: How to find music.

This is interesting and makes sense. I use to use Piolet, another File sharing program but never experienced this problem. My only problem with Piolet was that I could never close the program out without having to go to "running programs" and end the task. Will be interested in what any other members have to say, thanks
