I can drag videos into the video section of iTunes 7 & watch them from there.
Dragging from either the shared folder or the LW library works fine. Also, videos converted for iPod move to iTunes normally (actually faster than with previous versions, after converting the file it automatically moves into iTunes).

Unless someone else here has some clues, you could try the iTunes forum. Use the forum search there & see if anyone else is having the same trouble.

Remember ipod & itunes only accept mpeg 4 & a variation of mpeg 4 called H.264 so if it's any other format, they won't be copied across.

i know but to test i tried to send the same video that worked before like chain habg low which i already had i deleted it and try to send it back and couldn't so i cannot send any videos at all:cool:

Are you sure it was deleted? You need to actually remove it from the iTunes library. When you delete it, iTunes gives you 2 options: 1. Clear from playlist ("Keep Files"). 2. Move file to trash/delete ("Move to Trash"). iTunes will not import a file it already has in its library.

yes i removed it but i cannot send it back so for some reason i can't send any videos but can only watch them on windows media player:)

Removing video access

Hi new to this group and slightly off topic - when I signed up for Limewire I asked for video access as well as music. I now find that there have been some inappropriate downloads of video files and don't want this feature any more on my limewire. How do I go about having this removed from the list of options and search facilty yet retain music downloads?

It sounds as though you might've been scammed. You can download various types of files with LW but there's no special 'video access'. The only official site for download of LW is www.limewire.com
Where did you get your version of LW & how much did you pay for it? The basic version is free & the Pro version costs $18.88 USD for 6 months of updates & email support. If you bought from another site, have a read through the 2 threads below. The first has info about membership & scam sites, the second has info about obtaining a refund from a scam site.

If you were scammed, you should contact your bank/CC company & report this, ask if they can cancel the transaction (depending on how long ago you paid).

Also, look up a file before download with Bitzi. If the file's been rated then you'll see other people's opinions about it. It can help to stop the download of misnamed files!
