Qtella won't resume properly I'm using Qtella 0.5.0 atm, and I haven't seen anything about this in the 0.5.1 changelog, so I assume it's still an active bug. When I try to resume an interrupted download, if simply downloads the new file starting from 0%, ignoring the other file that was half-way through the download. I've checked the config section and its set to resume any files of the same size, and I'm resuming a file of the same size and filename, but it just starts from 0%. Should it not pick up where the previous attempt left off? |
Actually I have just noticed I might have been slightly wrong there: I was resuming a file of size 2.43mb, and noticed that in the downloads section it said it was downloading a file of size 1.4mb. The finished file had the filename repeated, so it was "fiilename.mpgfilename.mpg" which was a bit odd. So I think it did resume it, but treated the remaining data it as a new download in the downloads section which was a bit confusing, and then messed up the filename at the end of it. |
I'm going to check this. |
Great :) You're a very responsive developer :) Another possble feature though... often I have to quit qtella just forr a short while, and I want to be able to resume the download again without having to search for the same host or anotherr host with a matching file.. in the interrupted downloads section, could qtella hold the ip from which the file was last downloaded, or perhaps all ips its ever been downloaded from, so you could try thos ips for the file again before having to find a new host? LOL I hope you don't get fed up of me constantly giving you more work ;):D |
