Qtella (Linux/Unix) Qtella has been discontinued. We highly recommend you use an actively developed client instead.

Default how to safely run qtella as root?

I'm using an older version of QTella(0.4.0) under Mandrake 8.2. It works just fine except for the fact that I can only start the program as root.

When I try to run it as a default user, it never actually starts.

Is there a way to either fix this or make it safe to run as root?

Thanks.
