*feature requests

i would like a file preview option as in aqualime and limewire so you can listen or look at that part of the file that has already downloaded.

Hmm how does the preview feature work in Limewire? With swarm downloading, you might be downloading any part of a file. How do you preview a file if you only have a chunk in the middle of the file, or very small chunks scattered around the file?

Right-click in the Downloads page....
A menu appears and you select Launch.
That's it.
But, DO NOT continue 'monitoring' until the end...... As with other programs, you will have problems with the Windoze inability to save the file finally to your completed Downloads folder because the file is IN USE, right?

btw, hugacloud, most of the features requests that people have made to date re: Shareaza refer to features that are ALREADY THERE!!! Right-click all over the place and be amazed......

Hey, did you know that you can 'Unselect' a shared folder and then, later, re-select it without having to hash the files again?
Yup, right-click on a folder over on the left of your Library page and then click on 'Shared' in the menu which appears...... 'Shared' is a toggle switch that you can use to select which folders you want to share or not...... Nice, hmmm? You will see a little padlock icon appear over the folder to tell you that you are not sharing that folder. Nifty stuff!

Right-click will show you many 'secret goodies'!

I would like to see

1. File pass through for oppressed countries.
2. Encryption so that my ISP can't tell what I am doing.
3. Make ultrapeers download and hold popular files for up to 24 hours locally for others to download, this will make popular files more available and faster to download.
4. Features that will prevent someone from DoSing your node to prevent your content from getting shared. Some governments and "big companies" are trying to use DoS attacks and IP tracing to "censor" and control content on the network. This could also include governments that block freedom information to people who are being oppressed.
5. Anything else that would prevent people from knowing where a file originated so that truth can be free.

I would like to see the bitrate of the files for MP3's

I would like to see if you could add the bit rate (for MP3's and video's) for the files in the search columns. I like many of the features of the columns and meta-tags. This can be useful in selecting which file you would like to download.

Thanks for bringing out a much more useful gnutella client. Works like my favorite... gnotella and with many of the new features of hashing, ultrapeers, Ultraleaf, metadata downloading etc.

Just an FYI... the latest release 1.3.0.0 has the bitrate column under audio.

Bitrate...

Ok... It took me a bit of playing with this to figure it out.... even for some one who catches on quickly.

I thought it would only appear if you used the metadata search feature...

You can set the column schemas to match what ever your looking for in the results window. Make sure you click on the schema's you would like to view.

I was originally using the metadata search and that filtered out too much. However now knowing that I can select the schema's for the different files, that makes it much more useful.

Thanks for the info....

Disconnect Freeloaders.

That may be a feature which is useful for keeping Gnutella alive and well.
Now that I've found something nice... I'm selecting the force this node to be an ultrapeer.
