what does it mean when an attempt to connect to an ultrapeer is "rejected"

ummmm - I should probably clarify my question - what I was really asking was what criteria do shareaza ultrapeers use when collecting leafs - is it just 'first come first served' untill the ultrapeer is maxed - or - are there any characteristics of the user profile that are taken into account at all

well I'm not a scorpio and I'm on crappy dial up and so have limited upload slots available and only 4 gigs to share but shareaza (mostly) seems to like me (although nobody ever uploads from me unlike in LW) - maybe its not scorpio but libra that is the favoured sign

you know - I really wish I hadn't started this thread (especially rashly using the term 'user profile') - clearly in wondering if system set-up data such as number of available upload slots, number of files aavailable for sharing etc were taken into account in any way by shareaza (and not just say any individual hosts setting their own parameters) - I was exposing a laughable level of ignorance about p2p programming

Mike is changing numerous aspects regarding the way the queries are handled. It is not such a simple question.

Maybe the Ultrapeer has all slots full (it has arrived the maximum number of leaves). Or maybe the user of the Ultrapeer disconnected you. Or maybe your ping times were too bad an you were disconnected, or you were dropping to many packets...
