Hi,

First of all, I don't speak Deutsche. I'm working on the Spanish translation (the one included in 1.6.0.0 was not 100% complete yet, now I have finished) and I have taken a look at your language file. I see that you have done a lot of work, there are hundreds of words to translate and it's not easy to fit them in the available width :) .

I have seen that your language file is not XML compliant, there are some small mistakes that you should correct. To do that, open the file with Internet Explorer 6 or Netscape 7 (for instance) and any of them will tell you all the errors (one at the time, unfortunately).

Also it is possible to translate column headers of many windows (but not all of them). If you want take a look at my language file, just before the definition of the Start page of Shareaza. There is a section called <listColumns>.

Thanks for the comment

In fact I have translated the columns. I just placed the section somewhere else in the file (before the toolbar section).

And I've corrected the one error, now IE reports no error. I had to replace the & sign on the home tab with & #38;

I'll release an updated file if I find some more bugs..

I will try that your language file is included with the installation of Shareaza, ok? But this doesn't depend on me.

It's great to have quality translations, but I'll have to confirm that it's a good one, so I will talk with someone that does speak Deutsche :)

Well

Yes I hope Mike will include this file in the installer. I don't see a reason why he shouldn't. I translated every sentence independently and didn't use a machine translator or something. I tried to make the translations "sound good". That's why I sometimes left english words in the translation.

But I haven't received any feedback on the file yet. I'm open for any comments. I'll be happy to fix every mistake.

BTW. I've secretly updated the file, so that it is fully XML compilant.
