Using Limewire I downloaded a video file. It opens in Winamp but when I play the file it doesn't have any sound. I don't know if I need an audio codec or if I should scrap the file, but the video turns up just fine. Thanks for your help.

Try xtra codecs: http://www.divx-digest.com/software/nimo_pack.html
Or another player like DivX player or a free player like VLC which has built in codecs & plays all except some wmv files: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ (choose nearedst mirror site.) And also plays many audio formats. |
