Hello,
I just got LimeWire working in OS/2 this evening. Support was no help what-so-ever. Never even bothered to respond. Here is the lwire.cmd file that I use to start LimeWire: java -classpath c:\utils\limewire\LimeWire.jar;c:\utils\limewire\l ax.jar;c:\utils\limewire\collections.jar;%classpat h% a.a.a.b.Main Of course, everything is on one line. Also, I've just installed the Java 1.1.8 updates that were released recently. Head to ftp://ftp.hursley.ibm.com/pub/java/fixes/os2/11/118/ And grab at least the runtime file. Java -fullversion now reports: JAVA.EXE full version "JDK 1.1.8 IBM build o118-20010114 (JIT enabled: javax V3.5-IBMJDK1.1-20010114)" Hope this helps! Rick |

Ok, I'm very grateful for the Brennor script to start LimeWire on OS/2. This works fine for me, too. Basic question - where would a newbie find this in the installation instructions with the download?

Unable to initialize threads: cannot find class java/lang/Threads i also tried jre -cp limewire.jar;classes.jar a.a.a.b.Main limewire.props and got the following error: Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/sun/java/util/collections/Random at a.a.a.cd.c(cd.java:464) at a.a.a.cd.b(cd.java:157) at a.a.a.cd.<init>(cd.java:145) at at a.a.a.b.Main.main(Main.java:13) i have no clue what all this means and have no clue as to how to fix it. help if you can please.
