Limewire Doesnt open

I click on the limewire PRO 4.8 icon and nothing happens, the little hour glass come up like it is going to and then it doesnt. It was working fine about a week ago and then it just stopped. I just reinstalled windows and reinstalled limewire about 20 times and still no luck. Java is up to date, and my firewall is allowing limewire.

system spec are: Windows xp home
pentuim 4 3.0ghz 800mhz FSB
1gig DDR ram, ATi X800 pro, 120gb harddrive(lots of space left), norton antivirus/internet security, counterspy, and im useing DSL
with a dynamic ip address

He had a problem with the new ATI drivers. Same video card you have.

I still cant fix it, can someone think of a different solution. Man this sucks!

HOE KAY , i seem to have got it to work kind of. I deleted limewire from my comp. I went to Oldversion.com and got an older version of limewire. then i upgraded it to limewire PRO and it seems to work fine. HOWEVER when i start limewire PRO up it changes my desktop from XP style to some kind of old school desktop, and when i close it it turns back to normal.
