Default Super slow DL's

Hey,
I forwarded 19809 to my pc on my router and I am not behind any software firewall. I connect to the network fine and it says I have a Turbo charged connection. I am DLing from 4 star hosts also and IF it DL's at all I am only getting like 1-2kb/s. Anyone have any ideas of what I can do?

Try a port between 49152 - 65535. A good one to try is 64049

Remember you need to change this setting in LW as well.

Also, do you see a brick wall in front of the blue world icon at the bottom of LW's interface?

Try downlding a magnet link from the following link & tell us what happens in regards to connecting & speeds, etc. http://www.magnetmix.com/video.shtml

These may help us also System details - help us to help you (click on link)

See birdy's points made here http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...hlight=charter
It looks like your ISP might be to blame.

Since you couldn't download a magnet link which comes from a web site, not another LW. So it looks like your ISP is filtering & shaping LimeWire's traffic.

You have no firewall issue so it means they're not blocking the ports. You might try going to LW's menu bar, Tools>Options>Advanced>Firewalls. Turn UPnP off temporarily. Then enter 64049 in both the connection & listening ports. Then turn UPnP back on. Restart LW & see if that makes any difference. Also try connecting at different times of the day. Such as off peak times. Perhaps try both during day & very late at night to see if there's any difference. Some isp's only filter/shape during peak hours of use.

Try using another gnutella program Phex to see if you have the same problems.

Yeah I am starting to think it's the ISP also. Had the same issue on Morpheus...
