Default I may have a solution

I was able to get itunes to read the songs by consolidating all my music in to *C:\Documents and Settings\Justin\My Documents\My Music\iTunes\iTunes* Music file and telling lime wire to send downloaded songs to that file and itunes looks to this file as a defalt to get the songs and playlists from. so by telling lime wire to put its songs there I was able to keep itunes updated.

I hope this helped

Justin

spinthedoctor337 if you're using Mac OSX then iTunes can automatically import the songs. Only if LW has been on a long time & is extremely busy does this sometimes affect iTunes ability to do this. Otherwise you can see How to transfer music to my iPod (& iTunes) which is the manual method. Otherwise use jdr3883's suggestion.

melissabrianne you may need to restart LW for the change to affect the icons in LW. Otherwise check this: Setting default audio program & its adjoining link.

See Playlists & how to create them (click on link) as this will create m3u files which iTunes can understand & import.
