I have LimeWire for Mac OS X, and whenever I go to download something, it goes to the downloads list, but it stays in the "Queued" status indefinately. HELP!

That means that the host you are trying to download from is either not allowing downloads or all of the slots are filled. Just pick a different one to download. Good luck.

Queued actually means that LimeWire is busy downloading other files. Your settings might be set to download only 1 file at a time -- when those downloads finish, LimeWire will start a new one.
It's a very common misconception that Queued (on the downloading side) means you're waiting on the other side to let you in. That's what "Waiting In Line" means when downloading. (The upload side, on the other hand, Queues incoming requests.) |
