i cannot install limewire into win98....

i cannot install limewire into my computer....a nsis error appears...
it says:the installer u r trying to use is corrupted or incomplete.
this could be the result of a damaged disk,a failed download or a virus.you may want to contact the author of this installer to obtain a new copy.it may be possible to skip this check using the/
NCRC command lineswitch(NOT RECOMMENDED).....
wat should i do to install limewire????plz help me asap...

If you still have problems then there is an alternative installer. You just unzip it & use it. See Here about other version. That's what you need to downld. See how it goes. Also make sure your Java is up to date: http://www.limewire.com/english/cont...radejava.shtml

i've tried upgrading my java bt is nt successful...btw how do i unzip limewire n use it??

There's a no. of utilities that can do it. The ones I know are winzip, winrar, & StuffIt Expander. Google any of these & you'll be able to obtain the limited version or free just to use for unzipping, etc.

You can drag & drop the LW.zip file onto winrar or open winrar & go to menu File>Open Archive & direct it to LW.zip Simple as that. Once unzipped you can use it.
