Library: accidently clicked on stop sharing and now I cant see anything I download

how do I re-open my shared folder... I accidently clicked on stop sharing and now I cant see anything I download.

LimeWire users can use the Library Pane->File Menu and choose "Add Folder to Share"

for some reason my new downloaded songs are not going into my sared file. why is that? how do I get my new songs in there?

Ah. Check your Tools(Preferences in OSX)->Options for the name and path of the saved folder. Looks like you need to add that to the library too.

btw--I don't share my downloaded files until I've had a chance to inspect them to make sure they are clean and useful: it's easy to unwittingly share junk or worse.

why cant I get these songs into my library? should I uninstall Limewire and re-install it?

Where are your downloads going? Search your hard drive for the name of a recently downloaded file. That will be inside whatever folder you have set to hold your completed files. If you want to see those files in your library, you'll have to share that folder too.

Only Shared files show in the Library

newly downloaded music. They are not going into my library, for some reason they sit in the downloaded area.

Hey Stief,
Thanks for responding friend. Here's what happens, I d/l about 15 songs on monday, and they were never stores in my library. The only downloads that I show, are my original shared songs, ever since I accidently clicked on stop sharing, Ive had problems. I hope that helps. how else do I search my hard drive?

I found another shared file. It has all 15 songs from monday! I only wish I could share it on limewire with everyone else

You can . . . Library->File->Add Folder to Share

Or else, after checking out the files, quit LimeWire, drag them from the folder they were in to one of the folders that will be shared, and start up LimeWire again.

Quick question Stief...
wich files are the actual movie that it says it is. How many KB'S, or MB's should thewy be? Have you d/l any movies from limewire? I still have not found a complete movie. As always,,,,
