Whats the fuss about it?
I mean I can understand you if it is your server from
which the gif is linked to but I think it is not really THAT
important.

But hey,
Ursula lets just solve this little problem.
I have uploaded that gif image on my server.

So if just change the link on this url so Mr. X is satisfied
