Gnutella's Speed.

Gnutella is slow... no two ways around it.
I wanna help though, what clients are open source???
What is the Guntella protocol??? Is there a web site somewhere
that defines it??


I can think of a few things that could greatly inprove download
speeds, like with most nutella clients they have a download
throttle.. i mean why not just give uploads/downloads different
priorities???

Im a competent java programmer and need a project for
uni next semester, any input, dicussions on improve nutelleas
efficency would greatly be appreciated.
