E-mail notification is no longer functioning in this forum. Myself and stief have tested this, and we are no longer receiving e-mail notification for PMs, or threads we have subscribed to. The last one I received was on the 23rd at about 7 PM WST.

Are you getting notifications? I tried resetting the forum prefs, and cleaning out my Safari cache and cookies so I'd have to re-login, but still no notifications.

Okay, I think I found the problem. Our mail server is trying to connect to your mail server, but it's failing without leaving an error message.
The strange thing is that I've only seen it fail when sending e-mails to you two. Is anyone else not receiving e-mails from Gnutella Forums? |

Hmmm. I'm using the .Mac mail server. (anyone can set up a free account that lasts 2 months). A quick browse of their discussion boards doesn't seem to mention a similar issue.

I tested it with my own account. I sent two PMs and there was no e-mail and no pop-up window. The test account and my own have different providers. Morgwen Last edited by Morgwen; October 29th, 2003 at 07:40 AM. |

Good to hear.
No, it was a problem with our mail server. I don't think too many people were affected by it though; a lot of the e-mails were still going out. |
