Downloads - Thing to Add

There are a couple of things that I would like added to Gnutella. What deals mostly with the user interface. I jump back and forth between the download window and the search window. When you jump back to the download window, you can't see what was the last file you tried to download. It seems that you have to get that frame in focus. You can do this by scrolling the screen. I guess, what I am saying is why not have it always in focus?

Second thing, why not be able to group files together to be download. There might be 5 places to get the same file. It would be good to group these 5 together and the first response I get then I can stop trying from the other 4 sites. Think that would be hard to do? I hate getting these damn pushes that never work.

Thanks

The Client FURI does what you ask, sort of. You can search for additional "Candiates" that it will use if the first one fails. It marks the ones in the search files with an * that you have selected to load.

Limewire groups "simulare" files into groups on the search tab and you can select down load any. If one starts and then fails the next one starts from the very begining of the file. (FURI does't, it Resumes automaticaly.)

I am running on a Mac so I can't ta;l about Bearshare or other PPC Clones.
