user cp

yo, admins been screwy with the user cp?

Lord of the Rings September 16th, 2005 09:09 AM

If you have problems it's probably due to the recent forum update. It's had strange side FX. We're still trying to rectify them.

What's up Ultracross?

ultracross September 18th, 2005 02:13 AM

im also getting tired of seeing repeating errors such as:

"There seems to have been a slight problem with the database.
Please try again by pressing the refresh button in your browser.
An E-Mail has been dispatched to our Technical Staff, who you can also contact if the problem persists.

We apologise for any inconvenience." (which the email is equivelent to foo@bar.com)

but atleast its updated and as you say, there being fixed.

I've been seeing the same errors ... refusing to load the page, etc. PITA
Yep almost everyday there seems to be slowdowns or the forum just seems to fade out for a period. I'll be just as happy to see an end to these issues.

Please help Ultracross

I'll revise what I said about seeing no problems as I was relegated to non existant for 24 hours. My cp still has me down as being under 13 ... and while it would be nice to get that sorted, I feel that Ultracrosses need is greater than mine.

Ultracross, I hpoe you get sorted soon

Moderators, Administrators, and any one else who can help PLEASE help this poor unfortunate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As far as I can ascertain, there is nothing wrong with UC's record. I certainly can't find any problems. And haven't since he 1st complained. For someone who has been on thin ice for the past month, that's a somewhat wild accusation to make against the mods or admins of the forum. Instead of treading water, why can't you accept like everyone else on the forum that there's been issues with the forum since the update & until the tech gets off his *** to find the problem, we all have to live with it. Let's move on. End of story.

ultracross September 26th, 2005 10:29 PM

thin ice? eh, doesnt bother me none.. ;)

but im merely trying to get the attention of the admins that whatever they are messing with, it was screwing with my settings.. and my user cp kept resetting to defaults every other time i would log in (and cookies would expire on next login too).. it was also frustrating when i found that my PMs were turned off (again) and i was expecting a PM.

[edit] no need for special attention by the admins, i will just re-register under a different nick if its necessary. it might be only my account is screwed up. [/edit]
