email notifications not being received again
 

I haven't been getting email notification of posts to subscribed threads for a few days now.

The new posts are showing up in the "User Control Panel for stief;" resetting my prefs didn't help either.

Anyone else?

Bad luck Stief ... Mine are ok, but "only a hobo" is still unable to view a couple of the Gnutela News forums even thought he public can :confused:

I haven't had any problems so far. Although I would like to know where my fly trap is!!!

Both Fly traps are alive and well on my screen:)

I can't see anything that might be stopping it. CC has passed thru about that time & fixed a no. of issues with the forum/server so I don't know if it's related.

That's odd, the member BeckyW got 3 emails for one of your posts but you didn't receive any for that thread. :confused:

I blame it on the change in status, then :p

I'm still not getting notifications. Thus, revert my changed status:?

At least for now you can check the threads you're subscribed to in your control panel. I am sorry about this ... if I knew what was wrong. This has occasionally been an issue even before the forum update, but from memory the last time it happened it was universal to all users.

resetting the password didn't make a difference, but notifications started again a few hours ago.

If someone made a change--thanks. Would still appreciate knowing what in case I need to check my settings or machine.

Steif, I think you just have to view these things as the work of kindly gremlins:):)

checked my gmail account via the browser (Safari) and discovered a bunch of notifications had been marked as junk.

So that was the problem: not gremlins, but gmail
