contradiction in terms

You phucking hypocrites

You tout that search engine sites stuff you with banner ads, and as I'm surfing gnutelliums what do I see? Blocked phucking cookies from realmedia.com and C0CKSUKING BANNER ADS.

What does gnu mean to you people?
If you're gonna stuff my a$$ with banners at least be forthright and say; "yeah, we're gonna stuff you with banners, just like Yahoo" and not criticize them for doing the same.

Nothing more pathetic than someone that says one thing and does another. Get it right.

Running these Gnutella sites costs money. If the banner ads don't pay for them, then what/who is going to?

We never criticized them.

i too was a little displeased when pop ups started happening when i would browse through the forum, but then it occured to me that it takes very little to click a button and quit belly-aching. i suggest that others do the same....

Hmm,

I support CycloCide... the bills have to be paid...

advertisment is a nuisance but what is if the site close? Or you have to pay for it?

A small klick and the banner is gone - and CycloCide can pay the bills!

And as Kath remarked there are tools that avoid these pop up windows! ;)
