I am disgusted by the sick individuals who put child porn on LimeWire and other P2P networks. I am a kid myself and to think that some freak is putting videos of them or other people having sex with kids my age, kids younger or kids older makes me REALLY sick.

Something needs to be done about these pedo weirdos.

I know, people like that are sick. But sadly, no matter how much it gets removed, there's always more on the network. If you see some, remove it from your results. I am p i s s e d that people do this. And if I saw these people in real life, you better believe something bad will be heading their way.

As an old balding man, with two sons of my own, I can understand and sympathise with your feelings about these sick people.

However, I would advise you, and anyone else, to report these people to the proper authorities and (Garbagefan2) not to take the law into your own hands.

Vigilantes belong on TV and in films, not out on the streets.

I have to agree.

People who put something like this online should be followed and punished.
It also angers me how such things always come up.

People who watch and download this and *enjoy* it are sick aswell and need psychological help.

It is so sad that such things exist!

Just suppose you "follow and punish" the wrong person, how would you go about trying to make amends for the wrong you have done?

I have said this before in this forum and I will say it again, arrests, trials and punishment should only be done by the proper authorities, not by mobs or vigilantes.

Mobs and vigilantes cannot administer justice or put right mistakes that they invariably make. For example, here is an extract from a BBC Radio programme broadcast last year called "Any Questions" where a number of current topics are discussed:

Vigilantes are criminals, period, and I never hesitate to arrest and have them charged for the
various crimes they commit whenever I come across them.

Well said and I totally agree that vigilantes are nothing but criminals and tend to be more dangerous than the people they profess to protect their communities from.
