Report Bugs in 1.31 & Known Bugs/solutions

Report bugs here with the following info :
- Operating system ( win 98,wME, w2k, wXP, ?)
- Build of xolox : ( help > about )
- Connection type, firewall or not, router or not
- IE browser version ( 5.0, 5.5, 6.0 ? )
- Read below KNOWN bugs before reporting one.
thanks!

Known bugs in 1.31: :

1) On some systems the initial or first few times running XoloX, there is a closing errorthat occurs once - then never occurs again. We are aware of this bug and will attempt to address it in future builds.

2)" $ is not a valid integer value" type of error message at startup

Solution: Try renaming the resumeinfo.txt then restarting XoloX. ( located in the same directory as the xolox.exe c:/program files/xolox)

3) Xolox crashes when switching users in WinXP

Solution: Use Win98 compatability settings with Xolox. (thanks Ironman)

( note MODS: edit this thread to add known bugs/solutions as needed)

version 1.31 bug

Version 1.31 build 375
Windows XP (Home Edition)
DSL Connection through a SpeedStream router
IE version 6.0.2800.1106.xpsp1.020828-1920

Here's one I haven't seen reported yet. Since installing the new version I am no longer able to run Xolox unless I'm logged on as a "Computer Administrator." I uninstalled the earlier version of Xolox & deleted the registry keys as instructed in solutions for other "bugs" & then I tried installing Xolox in the "Shared Folders" directory instead of the default "Program Files" directory but I still can't get the new version to start if I'm logged on to a "Limited Account." It works fine as long as I'm logged on to a "Computer Administrator" account even if it is not the account that I used to download & install the program. Any ideas??

Try this latest build which will be offered over the weekend which addresses the banner issue if it doesn't load properly in wME, w98 & se.

Not a valid integer all the time

Kaya,

In response to your "known bugs in 1.3.1". I get the "not a valid integer" message constantly, not just the first few times. I am using 1.32. If I rename the resumeinfo file then don't I lose all of the queued downloads ?
