I ended up backing out of 1.5 and back to 1.41.

All seems well now and the un-installs/re-installs did nothing to my downloads or resume/partials folder.

To switch between versions, all you need to do is to back up the files under Program Files/Xolox (excluding Downloads) and then just swap them in and out. Or at least that worked cool for me!
