I am running Norton Anti-virus and Noton firewall under windows XP

this error message occurs to me too...so I can't use properly xolox 1.18, even if it's a very good program P2P.
I'm running WinME, NIS 2002.

ME has known issues.

I run it on XP Pro with Norton AV 2002 myself, and I'm yet to have beta 3 crash on me. I dont need a firewall myself so I'm not sure if norton firewall might cause a problem [I have a router].

If you get this error ( has been rather common) :

Error message: 'Unhandled exception EConvertError Exception
message:''173446'' is not a valid time'
or comething close to this......

Then you will need to change your regional settings in Windows for the display of time.
Go to Start > Control Panel > Regional Settings > general > 'Time' Tab. ( in wXP have to click on the 'customize' button )

Make sure the AM and PM symbols are set to AM / PM and NOT a.m./p.m. If you already have the regional setting to English / U.S. this is likely not needed.

Anyway thanks to 'tom1' in Chat for helping solve this bug.

Will be added to FAQ and addressed in later builds.

well my dll went to 100% --> 105% --> 126 %, and still busy. Is it gonna stop sometime? I read the bug goes to 105 and then back to 100 but I'm at 126% for the moment. What can I do about it?

For some reason, the restarting problem is back, not with Xolox, but with WinMX, but it's the same kindof thing. The reason it was restarting is because XP has it set default to restart on a program stop on my machine for some reason. The error was:

DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

STOP: 0x000000D1

I forgot which file it had this in, but I'm pretty sure it's something to do with the network card as it only happens when I use bandwidth intensive programs (i.e. Xolox, WinMX, whatever).

Time to troubleshoot :P

error reporting in build 118

Running winxp and have a home network with intel anypoint and also run pcanywhere. When I upgraded from build 50 to build 118 I started to get the access violation problem with every start and it woould never seem to completely send the bug report. When I uninstalled and cleared the registry and went back to build 50 the computer has been running a full 12 hours so far with no problems.

The only other thing I've noticed is some downloads are listed as active but 0.0 bytes for speed and they never seem to change.

GUI problem

just a note on the 1.18b3 -- in the "Upload Transfers" box, I see the field "Name" and the values below that. But there is another field scrunched up against the right-hand side of the box, with numbers. All I can tell is that it has numbers. But it's too scrunched to see/use, and the field is not resizable.

The point? -- pls make the field/column resizable.

Looks good otherwise.
