no downloads

I just intalled Xolox for the first time (V 1.19). Everythings ran smoothly and i get the network ok message. I can select files to download, but the download never happens. All I get is "searching, busy 0, buffer 0".
Other clients (like Morpheus 1.9 or MyNapster, WinMX or Audiogalaxy (as long they existed) did connect and download.
Can somebody help me with that? (I am connecting on cable modem through a Windows 2000 advanced server using ICS - maybe this information helps finding the solution.

-----------------
*** Uninstall 1.19 and upgrade ****
XoloX 1.20 with major download bug fixed. Uninstall 1.19 completely and do a clean install of 1.20.
For a Clean install: Run the uninstaller then go to start > run > type in regedit. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > XoloX. Delete the key.

This is NO problem... just wait a little... the host might be busy!

This is billm@ilg.net (from a couple of posts ago). That is not the problem. I installed the software about eight hours ago and have tried to download a number of things with numbers of hosts exceeding 50 and not a single byte has been transmitted. That is not due to busy hosts. I have been a Morphues user for some time now (and yes, since it has been on the Gnutella network) and know what it is like when hosts are busy. This is not due to busy hosts.

One thing I did notice from some other posts that may or may not be related is that I changed both my download directory and my shared files directory. Could that have anything to do with it? Some other people seem to have had problems when they change from the default directories...

Why do you think this is not the reason?

What does your download status say and how long do you wait?

btw its no good idea to post your mail address, someone can think its funny to send you a virus or something else... I can edit it out if you want to!

I left the client running since may original post about nine hours ago. Not a single bit has been transferred. And among others I tried to download a couple of very popular songs with high scores. On Morpheus the same song downloaded in no time. Something is most definitly not working here.

Ok,

what did your download status say?

I am having the same problem. The download status either says connecting, qued or searching. No data has been transfered.

I am having the same problem. The thing just doesn't do anything. I have used Xolox before on my computer with much success. I recently took it off my computer, but then decided that I wanted the newer version (1.9 I think). And since I have done that, it won't download anything. It just keeps searching and connecting. Nothing else. In the past, I would have some items that would not download or that would take a while to download, but not like this. And most of the time I would get my download within a reasonable amount of time. I hope someone can help us.
