No Download folder

 Everytime I try to download something it fails to do so. I checked and found that I have no download folder being created when I install 1.20 . I had this problem with 1.19 and upgraded to 1.20 when I saw the update about the bug reguarding winXP which I have. I have uninstalled 1.19 and installed 1.20 and still get the same problem. Is there something that I might be doing wrong that is causing this. I dicovered XoloX a month ago when 1.18 was out and loved it despite the occasional glitch because it was in Beta format. I hope that this is something I am doing wrong because this is the best person to person file share systtem around.

ironman,
I just wiped out xolox completely and re-installed myself to see if I could reproduce what happens to you. And i could not reproduce it.

My suggestions are this:
1)Try manually setting the download folder within XoloX. Tools > Preferences > Downloads Tab. manually set it to the desired folder.

OR
2)
- Uninstall XoloX and completely remove the folder.
- Then go to start > run > type in 'regedit'. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > XoloX. Remove this key.
- Reinstall 1.20

Hope this helps

tried both and did not work

I tried both suggestions but it is not working. I belive that it might be something failing to download. Also Uninstalled and reinstalled 1.20. Got the same problem. (BANGS HEAD AGAINST WALL) What am I doing wrong? I am looking to see if my IP server is the problem with the download. Also when I reinstall 1.20 it still claims I have version 1.19 and when I use the help tab to get an update it fails to do so. Will I ever get XoloX to work? I hope so. This is the best file share site I have ever used.

Problem solved

I have found the problem that was causing all of the trouble I was having and have fixed it. It was an incomplete download which caused the trouble. I have managed to get the updated 1.20 downloaded. I have not tested it yet but it is showing a download file which was not there before. Thanx for the help.
This is the best file share program I have ever used.
