Should I update or wait???

I just downloaded vs. 1.20 about 2 weeks ago right after another unamed program took the nestea plunge. From what I've read seems like there is a few kinks left to work out in vs. 1.21. Should I update now or wait awhile??? And also when I update, will I have to uninstall vs. 1.20 or will the new & old versions merge to create one greater version...hahaha......!!!!!!
