I have windows XP and can't download ANYTHING!!

Xolox connects to the network ok, and it searches fine to!

When i click on something to download and go to the "Transfers" icon, the item i want to download is there but underneath where it sais "Download Status" all i get is "Searching, busy1, buffer0"!!

and it stays like that for hours, sometimes the "busy 1" changes to "busy 0" but it changes back again and never downloads!!!

But when i look at my modem the lights are going crazy and if you look on the activity section on XP it shows that the modem IS recieving alot of data!!!!

I am using a 56k modem, what should the settings be?

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!

What vesion are you using?

i think but don't know for sure that your first sitting a dload que, then when it comes your turn the ping is so high. It shouldn't happen to every file though.get the latest 1.21 release if you haven't already.

I have XP home edition too and have the same problem!HELP!

I've had some great success with Xolox, better than any other p2p, and submitted some ideas to another user with a similar system to you. You can find her thread in this same forum under the header "Help please I read the frequently asked questions, ect..."
