Win XP User switching crashes Xolox

Hi,

I have successfully updated to Xolox 1.4 build 461 on Win XP Pro.

However, I still have this problem:

when I use Win XP User switching (or if I simply log off, keeping the connection alive and then log back on), when I log back on to the original user, Xolox has crashed and wants to know if I would like to restart and send a bug report to XOlox (which I do)

Is this a know problem?

Any ideas?

Anyone at Xolox want to acknowledge this problem and say if they are going to test/fix it?

This is a known problem for some people, and has yet to be resolved.

Thanks

Thanks,

Who exactly, out of all the Windows XP users out there, is it not a problem for?

A soulution has ben found. Set Xolox to use Win98 compatibility.

No difference, but thanks anyway

Thanks, but this is not the solution and doesn't make any difference. I've tested Xolox in Win 98 mode and every other mode listed (win 95, win 2000 etc) on Two different Win XP PCs with exactly the same problem regardless of which compatibility mode it is in.

1)I start Xolox
2)I press Windows Key and L to log off
3) I log back on immediately to same account without doing anything else (makes no difference if you log on to another account before logging back to original account)
4) I get this error:Version: '1.4 Beta 1 build 461'
Error message: 'HMODULE: 4194304 Unhandled exception EHandleOsError Exception message:OSError in Xotella.Timer1Timer: Prev call stack: [0040ECA2] [0040ECD0] [0043DF4A] [00421C16] [00525541] Call stack: [0050A408] [0043DF4A] [00421C16] [00525541]'

(which I have sent to XOlOX)

Any further suggestions would be gratefully recieved. Thanks.

I get the error on XP Pro myself; regardless of compatability - however, if I hit the close icon on the error report dialog afterwards xolox appears to run fine.

The big problem I see here is the fact that many people using XP 1. Set a password on their account and 2. automatically have their account set to lock out after X amount of min of idle.
