Re-started download

In the last two weeks I have used Xolox with no particular problems (the auto-update feature worked fine), with this exception:
In the 10% of the cases, the download goes on, up to the 95-98%, but suddenly restarts from 10%.
Is this a bug, or a problem in my PC config?
(Win ME and - I confess - a 56K modem)
