XOLOX stability problems (win ME)

Hello,I have been using gnutella client programs for some time now with no problems. I really love Xolox, however I always seem to run into problems with stability after a few days of use. Yes I know my OS is windows ME ,I don`t think that is an excuse for this problem .This is the only gnutella client that has ever had a problem running reliably on my system (ibm 2284 45u netvista,192mb ram,700mhz)-most notable error -at shutdown will eventually and consistently get the error message {XOLOX has caused an error in unknown-XOLOX will now close}Of course,XOLOX will not close ,the error window will not close ,the pc will not restart!-It would be really nice for someone to address this problem,as most pc`s sold in the last year ship with ME preloaded! thx-cannibal

I have precisly the same problem with my WinME, My machine is slightly slower 450Mhz but then I do not think this is related to the hardware. Xolox 1.12 worked fine the first few days, downloaded several divx movies without any problems. The program is, for lack of better words, perfect. Until these problems occure, the very same that you describe. I do not have a solution, just wanted to let you know that there are at least one more xolox user that have the same problem as you have with xolox.

Hmmm...

I also have WinME, but I have not had any of these problems you are listing. I dont think that it is a problem with WinME, but with something else.

If you have firewall such as ZoneAlarm, you may have to disable it.
