another network terrorist

by putting in a bad crc for the last segment
they keep you on line to leech your files.

I have seen 30% of an 800 meg file dropped time and time
again.
Some times your lucky and you get the final bit from another
source.
YOu have to pay attention sometimes to the stats and names.
98% -> 69% -> 75% -> 81% -> 71% -> 75% -> 79% -> 95%
-> 75%

Sometimes the network is bent by the ( Stars Wars terminology)

WTF..... neih i don't thinks it that ??? Are you saying that your download could get ****ed up just becouse you couldn't get the last part ??? I don't thik so. Anyways... every time i downloaded a file it got stuck on 99% with 0 secs remaining... pfhh i just hate that. Oh yeah could anybody tell me why Xolox crashes every time i shut it down ??? its ****ed up. It just keeps saying that Xolox made a mistake and you can only select close.... but then the ****ing thing pops up again.. pfhh so i just have to reboot every time. Oh yeah. A download just dissapeared. I closed it and the next time i opened it it was gone. Now that sucks.

This has been discussed in other threads but here it comes again. This happend to me and after reading a few posts it doesnt happen much anymore. The error usually comes up when you still have a search window open, and this is something that I have noticed myself. Before I close xolox completely, I make sure that I do not have any of these windows open. I also read somewhere that uploading or downloading on close can also cause this error, it was suggested to try pausing the download before closing. I have also noticed that I dont get as many xolox crashes when i keep my system defragmented and in tip top shape. Happy Downloading.

I said that that closing the search windows is what I have done in the past to help stop it from happening as often. I also read in another thread that uploading when closing, or downloading has caused this problem before, and I too have noticed this. I would also suggest trying to reinstall xolox and see if that helps any.

If you reinstall.... are your files that you are downloading at the moment deleted ???

only if you close the program, uninstall it, and delete the directory that it leaves... this also depends if you changed the default settings of where xolox saves its temp files. if you havent, they can be found in xolox\temp.

I would think that you could move these temp files out and then put them back when the directory is recreated, and that they would start downloading again.
