Safe Download Mode???

2 downloads have reached 99% and now it says SAFE DOWNLOAD MODE, Like that for 2 days now. Any ideas please.

It means it recieved x amount of partials that don't fit the already downloaded material.
If the amount of partials revieved that don't fit is too high, it will attempt to download the remaining part from the last good host it downloaded the last partial from.
That host may be busy or offline however.
2 options: start the download again or wait till the host comes available.

there's also a third option, which is to hack your resumeinfo.txt file ...

you should see soemthing like:

JOB
#
## <- change this to 0
search terms
x:\path\downloads\localfilename.ext
filesize
lastsegment#
CRC (dissabled so 00000000)
0

resumeinfo.txt? i looked through all of my hard drive and couldnt find this file, i even included sub directories. i run xolox 1.12. where is it supposed to be?

The Seeker October 30th, 2001 04:28 PM

If you have downloads going, it will be in your root XoloX directory. (until the next version, where it will be in your /downloads directory) If you have no downloads going, the file is deleted.
