How do I tell when search is finished?

Does the [0] indicate that the search is actually finished? I can't tell if the number shows up when there are results (or when there aren't) or if it's possibly still searching. There's no message to say "no results found." Is there any way to search by title or artist vs. just a general search?

Thanks,
Mike

First off, the search continuously runs and doesnt stop. The way to searc for an artist is to type there name in the search bar along with the title that you are looking for. this will also sometimes decrease the number of hits.
