Xolox post shutdown - unable to download
 
I had xolox before it was discontinued, recently re-installed it...

but, though it connects to the network and searches fine, i can't download any of the matches - double-clicking doesn't work, and right clicking gives me the "download" box, but it's greyed out...

does anyone know how to fix this, i think it's worked one time out of 20?

Your copy of Xolox is Outdated.
 
You need to get a current copy of Xolox. Here are a few of the places to get a working copy of Xolox.

The original Kane2931 Fix (the first one after Dec. 1): Kane2931

These are most of the main download sites, there are many more places to get a working copy of Xolox. Also you can make the version of Xolox you have now work by blocking access to www.xolox.nl with a firewall or other means.

I recommend getting the Kane2931 Fix. Once you have downloaded and extracted the Xolox.exe from the Zip file, simply move it to your Xolox folder (to replace the old Xolox.exe) and Xolox will work for you again. Make sure Xolox is not running when you do this.

The location of your Xolox folder will probably be: C:\Program Files\XOLOX
