Downloading
 

Hey,

My downloads seem to prefer to stop at around the 96-97% mark. It'll loose it's connection then search, or querie, or be connecting...but never really DOWNLOADING...yeah, I gave it time...like 3 days...but it still doesn't come...kind of a tease ain't it?

I forgot to mention, that sometime it will make it to 99, but then part of it will be dropped due to wrongly served information...then it either goes back to 96% and does what it did before or goes down to 62% and works it way up until it can drop more due to wrongly served information...also, i'm working on dial-up, so it's kind of slow going.

If you are downloading files where a few errors are ok (usually it can be tolerated in audio and video, but not always) you can turn that feature off in the preferences.

it'll play for the first 10-20 seconds then after it's just various noises that don't resemble the song at all...gosh i miss audiogalaxy

That's called downloading a copyrighted file from what I believe is riaa/mpaa servers hosted on Cogent. The ip blocks with the virii/porn/etc are as follows if you want to attempt blocking them:
