Default "Disconnected/no files available"

I can't seem to get the software to stay connected. I am using a Linksys router/firewall for my cable modem. Can I use SwapNut? I was a regular Napster user.

I get a message "Disconnected/no files available" in the lower left. Occasionally I will get a Connecting and a brief message about many TBs of available files for me, but this will go away within 30 seconds, and then the Disconnected message reappears.

Is there no way to attempt to reconnect manually, or do I just sit and wait and assume that the software is attempting to reconnect?
