Have you loaded/installed any new software which may include RealPlayer ?

Normally, when you install new Players (and many other file reading/playing/viewing programs) they automatically configure themselves to become the new Default application.
Nasty habit but they almost all seem to do it !!!

Go to your setup page for QT and reset it as your Default Player.
(You may also need to go into RealPlayer and deselect it as the Default Player... (Sorry, I'm not sure if the last part is necessary or not.)

Not the one I know... they normally show you a list of files which they support and ask you which one they should open in future - ok they are checked by default but its no problem to uncheck them. I remember that Realplayer and Quicktime are working this way...

There is also an option to change it via Windows. Right click on the file choose "open with" NOT "open", now click on "choose programm" select the program and IMPORTANT is to check the option that the program should open this files in future - thats it.

Limewire/Quicktime

Still my problem not solved. When you say " Go to your setup page for QT and reset it as your Default Player." How cannot do that, I don't find anything which says" Default Player'.

I didn't install any new software, I don't understand how to make QT the default player.

Thanks & ciao
