Viewing Movies
 
Hi everyone i just got Lime Wire last night and i do like it. However, my audio music file play fine but when i try to launch a movie or a video clip nothing happens....how come?? isnt there a video player i can watch movies with?

What kind of movies are you trying to watch (mpg, avi, mov, rm) and what operating system are you using (windows, osx, linux,...)?

There are a variety of movie players, but LimeWire doesn't bundle one.

Im trying to view all types of movies, and im operating with windows xp....if theres anyway you could help id love to know thx!

This one (mplayer) is ideal to preview files you are currently downloading although it doesn't have any GUI controls (try some keys to find out what they do):

Then there are a number of codec packs you could use to play those files with the standard Windows Media Player, I'm using the ACE Codec pack:
