Help with burning

Hey i'm new to limewire

OK ive had limewire for maby 2 too 3 weeks now and all of a sudden when i wanted to burn a cd, it would burn but when i play it on a cd player it would sound all distroted, like my speakers were busted, but thats not the problem because ive used Real CDs and they come out just fine. So what do you think would be the problem?

Thanxs

You cna try: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=25972

Or you can use another pre-burn audio editor that can check the audio levels & normalize/reduce the max levels before you actually burn. Some burner softw's convert mp3's themselves to wav or its equivalent, but ideally a top level audio app should be much more trusted to convert accurately plus adjust levels as required. Yes Audio CD's ARE affected by having the max volume level too high! Distortion can also be caused by extremely cheap brands of CD media! If they don't show distortion at first then 2-3 yrs later many will.

I use PCDJ got it from my uncle and i use nero. I dont think that my CD's are cheap there Memorex 700MB, and that are ratted at 52X.

It sounds as though both your hardware & softw & media are sound. Although I did read in a pc magazine a few mths ago about a cd burner review that revealed that many don't burn accurately at the speed as specified (some as much as 10% or more under) or reliably at the higher speeds. It was their research not mine! And that media varies like audio-tapes do; from talk tapes to hq audio tapes! Choose your quality I guess & how long it lasts for; 2-3 yrs or 20-50yrs!
