Do a google search for Nero Burning Rom, and take the free trial offer. once you have it installed on your conputer open it.
There sometimes is a pop up which asks you a couple of questions just answer them with your own judgement. But when you get to the one which asks you which type of cd you want to burn select audio.
This is another that it might happen: when you open it there is a popup asking you to select from different options. at the top there should be one named audio or soemthing of the sort, select that one and click ok.
Than you will be able to change the format of the file once you burn your cd. This cd can be played in a normal cd player.

There's lots of free mp3 players (software) around & some are mentioned in this section of the forum. Some will convert to aiff/wav so you can burn them. Some cd burner apps will also convert mp3's to aiff/wav. For mp3's of quality (the quality ranges b/w 32-320 kbps) choose those that are 128 kbps or higher. Obviously the higher the better but also the larger the size. I've seen wav files on the netwk, but as Peerless points out, they're 8-10 times larger & will take so much longer to dwnld. I'd suggest you probably couldn't pick the difference b/w an mp3 encoded at a high bit rate compared to a wav. MP3 uses intelligent compression techniques such as combining tracks when there is no difference b/w the channels & thus reducing the size of the file. For advice on how to transfer the files to your burner see :http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=27006
Or do a search for burn on this forum.
